Okay so any one put start to think about changing to a 15" rim with a offset to push the rim/tires slightly outwards for better stance? |

If this is the case then makes no sense to change out rims, but just add some spacers or will that cause more rubbing for either 265/75r16 or 235/85r16 ? |

the tires you listed are 31.6 and 31.7 inch diameters... the 265/75 is wider actually then the 235/85... that might lead to rubbing when you cut the wheel with the spacers... i'm no tire expert tho so just adding my here

You shouldnt go too wide of a stance or you'll risk rubbing tires on the lip of the fender. I have 265s on a 16x8 with I believe 5" offset and the rim sits flush with the fenders and when stuffed tuck nicely. |
