| Post subject: | My Transmission Issue Update |
Quick history on the Jeep. Bought it in September of 09 (09kk RM) and noticed at 45-50mph @ 1500 RPM's there was a droning vibration, more noticeable while the car was under load (up hill). I brought it in sometime in December and the dealer flashed the car, disengaging full lock up of 3rd, moving up 4th. AMAZING results after this was done. I was not aware the Jeep could ride so smoothly. 2-3 weeks later, the vibration came back. Only thing I can think of that was done to the car was 1- Key fob didn't work and I had to put it in the ignition in order for it to start working again (both fobs-This seems to happen every few weeks) and 2- put it in 4wd during a snow storm. Again, I cant pin point when it happened. So today I go back in to have it looked at again. The flash from Dec was still in there. So they did a "relearn" which seems to of fixed the vibration but I was told it "may come back". Hopefully it doesnt come back! |
