In a week or so, I'll have 50,000 miles on my KK... and...... I'm still using the original Goodyear OEM tires! Those things have been through snow, mud, rain, deep sand, a recent t-bone car wreck and they are still running. Now granted, I agree with all of you, they are genuine junk, but I've gotten my money out of them. I can't tell you how many flat tires I've had, and I ruined one of them and had to replace it. A couple of them are looking pretty thin... but they are still on my KK at 50K I think I deserve some sort of award for that LOL |

Yes, an award. I think I hear your Jeep asking for some man tires.

ha ha, yes I did T-Bone someone, but it was on a dry day....absolutely no way to miss that woman, no matter what tires I had. got the KK out of the body shop today. It looks nice.. new bumper, new shock absorbers, new headlight assy, and another new piece, but I can't remember what it was now. while it was there, they agreed to touch up my rear bumper where it had been scraped too. They said as long as they had to pait it, they would paint the spot on the rear bumper too. Now I have over 50K on those tires... I got to go get new tires next. A couple of those things are down to the wear indicator bars. I want something a little more agressive, but not so agressive that it's noisy on the highway. I had a set of Goodyear Fortera Triple Tred tires on my KJ that I liked pretty well, but those things were a lot of $$ I work across the street from a tire shop, I'll go have him order me something next week. I don't think I've ever had a set of tires on a car for over 50K miles before. |

well, as much as I hated to see them go, the Goodyear OEM's are gone. I had almost 51,000 on them. I got some Cooper Starfire SF-510's. They have a fairly agressive tread pattern. I was afraid they would be noisy, but they are actually very quiet. I got the 245/70/16 tires. Seems to be about the same thing as the original 225/75/16, but maybe a little bit taller and wider. I'll go check them out in the sand later this week. |

I'm impressed so far. As agressive as the tread pattern is on these tires, I just knew they were going to be noisey. However, they are extremely quiet, I can't believe it. |

Diggerfreek wrote: Whats your mileage like? not any difference so far. It can't be that bad, the tire is fairly close to the same size as the OEM tire. I think there's like 4 revolutions difference per mile. |
