Tonight I finally updated my vendor thread for my top plate shims to not just say "KJ". They also work in the KK. If my 3/8" shims are used, you'll get about 3/4" of lift in the front. They lift in the same manner as a clevis lift, just from the other end of the assembly, and can be used with another lift for extra height. Here is the thread:
