Well folks - I'm starting to consider lifts again, and here's an interesting question...

How tall is everyone?

I do alot of underground/parkade parking, and most lots are 6' - 6'-6" clearance here in Calgary.

Anybody measure from the ground to the top of their radio antenna yet? I know we're all concerned about creating as much ground clearance as possible, but for me - as a daily driver - my Jeep needs to stay under a certain height.

Thanks.

To the rear 45 degree antenna. That one..... well its about 6'-7" and I that know I can fit in a 6'-8" parking garage.

With the JBA 2.5" lift I park in our 6'6" garage every day at work with some room to spare...

The jeep will see a lot more of the outdoors as soon as I upgrade to the 4" lift :)

I'd use an easy out or a left hand drill bit....

5064253AB-antenna

OR, just buy a new base unit. I can get one for under 30 bucks here... 5064252AC-base

So general consensus is, for a Daily Driver, which parks underground, stick with a JBA 2.5", or maybe the rock-krawler 3" lift.

I'm almost afraid to know how tall overall Clacker's KK is....
