looking to get a set of cross rails... any suggestions on that ( give advice with mpg and price etc)... i need something easy to take off and put on cause i have the sky slider and i will only use the bars when i need something to be up there |

the trails around here are too tight of quarters for me to want to put anything on top of my roof in fear itll just get ripped off, so i havent done much research. I do however like what SkinInc69 did with his. Scroll down to the third post. viewtopic.php?f=104&t=45368 |

What do you have for side rails? I put rro's on my skyslider. So far very pleased. I am going to have my welder build an easily detachable cross for my Hobie kayak. Using a "tailgate extender" to support the back just because I have it and it keeps the weight off the roof. If you look at rro's rack, it attaches to their sides with ubolt brackest any welder can make. Knowing yo have a SS and not knowing what you have for sides makes this hard to answer.... Or maybe I missed it. Dan |

thank you dirty... yes i have stock rails with the sky slider... looking to purchase something already made... or even make a fishing rod holder that would attach to the side rails ( not cross rails)... i got a single piece 13 ft surfcast rod that i really dont wanna put in my truck haha |
