Today I spotted a KK with what looked like a 5.7 L badge on the rear door. The KK actually came with a 5.7 L gas engine?
sweet

Is that a V6 hemi? What's the towing capacity? over 5,000 lbs?

Well - with the right torch - you can out a small block Chevy in just about anything - but I'd bet the Hemi will actually fit with Chrysler parts (might be from a mix of vehicles but all Chrysler)

well did the thing move quick... otherwise i think it just am emblem change the 3 is separate from the .7 so its an easy change... there is no liberty i kono with the 5.7 in it ... plus wasnt there a debate if the 4.7 would even fit?

It was bad enough that I followed the guy home to confirm what I saw, a genuine looking 5.7 L badge on the rear of his KK.
Chrysler/Jeep does have a 5.7L Hemi engine however I can't find any mention of a KK coming from the factory with one. That's why I posted this article here.

Wait, I did find a mention of the 5.7L engine; http://www.allpar.com/history/liberty.html

It say 2004 tho! Not 2008 and up! But i have seen the Hemi in the Grand Cherokee and if the bay of the KK is smaller then the Grand Cherokee i dont think it would fit! But then again i aint never seen under the hood of a KK!

If you went as far as to follow the guy home why not stop and ask about it ...
