"personally".....I don't like the new styling, too boxy....looks like a cross between a mini-Commander and a Dodge Nitro.
Give me the curves of the 02 to 07 models any day........

I didnt like the KK at all when it first came out, Ive always really liked the KJ, the IFS took a while to grow on me, however, now that Im a little more used to the KK, I am beginning to really like it, I still prefer the KJ, it suits me better, but I definitely won't turn my nose up at a KK. Very nice vehicle. I think the skyslider option is awesome by the way.

I have always driven Dodge's but Nitro only has single speed transfer case.So I looked at Jeeps. I bought an 08KK. I test drove 2 really clean(except for upholstery)KJ's and 1beat up KK. This is what I liked about the KK over the KJ. Again these are personal likes. Fold flat front seat, hidden spare tire(I don't care what size of vehicle you have somebody will hit that spare),Lift gate. I think there was one more but cant think of it now :? . I originally liked the KJ body better, but changed my mind and got a KK.

I agree on the fold flat passenger seat. I loaded two custom made 8 foot long 36 inch wide doors in my KK without any doors or windows open.

I didn't know the KK's had a fold flat front seat. That sounds pretty usefull, wouldn't mind having that. As far as the hidden spare tire, I'm not going to name names but I have been witness to someone having a flat in Moab, and it seemed like it was a giant hassle to get the spare tire out from under the vehicle. Compare that to the KJ, you just need to take off 3 lugs and you are good to go. I'll take the chance that someone will hit it, plus it looks pretty cool back there.

As far as the rest of the KK, I don't like the looks. Looks to much like the Nitro, and I am not a huge fan of electronic transfer cases. Have wheeled with a few 'Yota guys and it is always fun when they have to mess around trying to figure out why they can't get there rig into or out of 4wd :SOMBRERO:

I think there is a trade off for most any vehicle. If people were all the same then wouldn't are homes and everything be the same?Dull.Yes I'm weird, but then it works for me.

Mechanically a KJ and a KK are the same. Besides a few components, and a lot more electrical stuff, a KK is really a KJ with a box mounted to it......

Which came first? KA or KK... Hummm let me see 07 Nitro, 08 KK.... Ah, answered my own question.
Had they offered the KK in 07 I would have gone that route. But they didn't, so a KA it is. Soon to have a 2 speed X-fer case in it. If all goes well.

No CRD option on the KK, if there were, I'd rock one.

Will a 33" tire fit in the hidden spare tire area on a KK?

I guess if you did a sfa you might as well get a tire carrier anyway. I like both the KJ and KK...I could use the extra cargo space of the KK.

a 33 WILL fit under there, but its not gonna fit like a 245/75 or smaller will fit. its gonna have about 4 inches or more(depending on its width) of tire visible from under the rear bumper

Interesting how time changes things. I remember when I got my 04. People wanted that "box" look of the 2001 and backward. I think the most missed was the under side of the old style and the KJ was looked at as too soft. The 08 and up is too soft. Its night and day between my 02 KJ and my 09 KK.
