Ok, so i was driving to work like an hour ago. Pull into the parking lot when all of a sudden engine dies, lights start blinking, wipers start wiping, horn blows sparatically. roll to a stop with no power steering or power brakes, Try the panic key on the keyless remote, nothing. Try the key in the door, nothing. Finally i pop the hood in preparation to snatch my battery cable off when it al of a sudden stops. Start it up again make it like 30 more yard into the parking lot and the same thing happens again. When i started it back this time, i made it to a parking spot and noticed that the check engine light was on befire i turned it off.

Havent tried it again since im stuck here inside at work for the next 5 hours. Anyone EVER heard of ANY such issue?! i did the little J6 fuse mod with the relay and switch, however i doubt THAT would happen if the fuse or wiring fail. And Maybe it just happened to be coincidence...But i know for a fact that i was somewhere around 22xxx miles on the Odo. When this happened the first time i looked at the Odo and it was flashing and was all 2s (22,222). i wander if it set itself to 22222 or if it actually rolled over to it... craziest thing ive ever seen

sounds crazy for sure :shock:

when i had my little water incident :oops: mine had some crazy stuff goin on when i got water in wire harness connectors. disconnected the one in the engine compartment above the brake booster. used a small brush and a can of spray air to clean it out and reconnected. did the same to two connections at the drivers foot. they are just behind the panel that has the hood latch to the left of your feet.

i would definitely make sure everything is good with the fuse box or anything else that has been modified. reseating connectors work wonders. ive noticed in aircraft maintenance that a lot of times problems are caused by previous maintenance or modifications.

clacker- Your problem sounds like its the TIPM.It controls everything you mentioned.I would also make sure your battery is good,plus connections.

it was totally the TIPM. still honered my warranty and replaced it for free. Crappy thing was that it took em' 4 days to get me a new one and get it installed. But were good, new TIPM and nitrogen fill on all 4 corners, on the house :mrgreen:

Thanks for coming back and letting us know the what the problem was,and may help someone else someday.When I needed a WCM,it took 5 days.
