so when i go in reverse and have the wheel cut i hear a clunk noise. only happens once and only in reverse. i can sort of feel it in the steering wheel. any ideas?

It's probably the suspension adjusting, or the CV coming out a little.
Usually in reverse the suspension gets a little stressed and flexes in weird directions. Like when the wheel is at full lock and the tire only rubs the sway bar in reverse and not forward.

I haven't turned to full lock in a loooong time.

(Oh and I love the title of the thread, hah.)

My transmission shudders when cutting the wheel and reversing too, really noticeable when backing up a hill and turning. Might be the same as what you are noticing.

Mine shudders too in reverse but i think that just happens to all kjs and kks with the 42RLE transmission.
