so recently my jeep is squeaking alot ( not the normal jeep squeak). it almost sounds like crickets. when im driving ( noton the gas cause i cant hear it over my exhaust) i hear like this squeaking noise. when i brake it stops... so i'm assuming its brake related. when i hit a bump it gets louder. i just changed my brake pads to EBC yellow stuff(front) and EBC green stuff(rear)... what do you think it is. a buddy of mine suggested it was the clips that keep the pad from rattling that they may be hitting the rotor... i need help quick cause i wasnna fix this before i do my road trip coming up the 11th

i dought their hitting rotors but they must be loose - did you apply any lubricant to the back of those plates

Can you exchange the brake pads? I would take them back and maybe try a different set just in case those came defective or exchange them for a different brand just to see what happens. The other thing would be to put the old ones in (If you haven't tossed them yet) and see if the noise stops. Probably not what you want to hear but that would be a way to isolate the problem.
Usually on the brake pads there is an indicator metal piece to let you know it is time to replace them, if that metal was bent it could possibly be the problem. I can you have some one outside of the vehicle listen to see which wheel it is? Is it all of them?
