Anybody know if there is a wrangler rubicon wheel/tire combo that will fit a 2009 kk limited? Without a lift? I was considering a lift but after some evasive driving on the freeway last week, I am thinking stock would be better. Thanks, Dan |

Stock Rubicon wheels and tires (245/75/16) should fit fine. |

i believe they are 5 by 5 not 5 by 4.5 so the wheel won't fit... the tire would also be pretty close |

it will not, i was thinking of doing that and it looks like you are going to need at least 2 inch lift |

I have Moabs w 245/75/16 Goodyear Silent Armor. Love the wheels love the tires. They fit w minor to a little over minor rub. Thanks to the pinch weld the wheel has eaten the fender so there is a gap there, I hear the rub more and more, but that is okay tomorrow I should have the RK lift install to solve the problem. So, I would suggest go a little smaller on tire size or put a lift to fit them. Wheels need to be from TJ not JK due to the bolt pattern. You need the 5x4.5 you could probably fit 235/75/16 w/o any rub. Good luck |

The TJ MOAB rims are 1" wider then the OE KK wheels so you need at least a 245 tire, and that is the upper limit for a 245 tire and not very good setup for offroad and airing down. The TJ's MOAB rims also has 5" of back spacing and the KK's OE wheels are 5.5" which creates another issue for rubbing. So yes you will need a lift the run MOAB rims. |

Actually the KK are 5"x4.5" just like the KJ and the TJ. I didn't know the Moabs (Rubicon) wheels are not a good setup for off road. Oh well, too bad I sold my stock rims already. I guess for the occasional off road trip they will do the trick. |

theyre fine off road but you could benefit from using a tire wider than 245. seen plenty of stock Rubicons air down into the teens without issues. |
