 Post subject: removing the air filter box / changing fog lamp

alright i'm dumb...need to change out a fog lamp on the passengers side and was thinkin that if i take out the air filter box it would be a breeze, does it just pop up i don't see any screws, anyone that can tell me i'd appreciate it. haven't had to change a bulb yet! just can't quite get my arm twisted right...

If you need to change the bulb owners manual explains how. If you mean the assembly I would think you'd pull the grill but I'm not sure.

thanx Cherrie, it is the bulb but the manual just says to turn it to get it out, i was just wondering how to get better access.

Yes just pull its rubber grommets, then replace with CAI :BANANA:

oh i gotcha, i thot you were using some kinda metaphor for how to put it back together...that is a sweet set up, what does that cost and will it help with power?

When I first changed my fogs I just yanked real darn hard on the airbox knowing they were just popped on. Of course..... trying to put it back on became so much of a headache that I drove it to the auto-shop and just made my own intake tubing and filter setup.

I think I will try a real CAI this summer when the income comes back. That and a Jet 1 chip.
