Ok every one, I know that there are only a few of us with manuals on here but I need your help.

What I'm trying to find out is when Jeep eliminated the vibration dampener off of the T-case. My Sept 07 BD had one how ever I have worked on a late MO08 that didn't have one. So if get a chance would you mind looking under your Jeep to see if the tail shaft on your trans look like the picture and post your BD as well? The vib dampener is the big ring that surrounds the yoke on the tcase. if you don't have it, well you might be able to see this much of the yoke

Does it matter if it is a manual? My build date is 11/07 and my auto trans w/Command-Trac does not have one.

EDIT-

With manual transmission-equipped vehicles, a rubber-isolated torsional damper on the transfer case output shaft makes for quieter transmission performance.

i guess since they say specifically manual and dont mention auto, autos are not equipped. i read this as Libertys in general so im not sure how it applies between KJ and KK.
