Or this, directly to the hood. I was going to this, but went an easier, temporary way.
These look fairly easy to make.

hey everyone i got a 2010 kk and i wanted some extra lighting, i was honestly thinking of maybe fabricating a mount for my side mirrirs if anyone mad it, cant find doo doo anywere for this car, and maybe the beumper also, please any comments are useful thanks!!! |

Nothing out theer as of yet for side mirror mounts but there is a little do-hickey for a wranger hood that can be used on the front bumper of the KK and can hold to lights http://www.4wheelparts.com/Bumpers-Tire ... gn=product that link will show you what im talking about. I personally would love to see a side mirror mount. If I were to take a swing at fabing up something, I would look at mounting on or near the joint where the mirror swings inward. Maybe like a bracket that could fit over the center post in that hinge. Maybe even at the very rear corner of the hood |

been looking for the same thing the past few days, unfortunately everything I've found looks custom. I've gotten some good ideas from unrelated threads on here how I'm gonna fab mine. I've seen some pictures where it appears that people have mounted the lights straight into the plastic front bumper. Not sure how good of an idea that is, as I have no idea what's under the plastic. I think a better idea would be to fab a mount and attach it to the metal between the slats in the front grill and have the lights slightly elevated off the front bumper. I'm really kinda surprised at the lack of information about this. If anyone has any ideas please post. |

i honestly think if they can go on the mirrors it would be sick, im gonna fabricate something my self im tired of waiting like you guys lol, im gonna go with the "C" clamp idea and have a hole sticking about an inch and a half off the mirror and thats were the light would go, putting rubber bushings inbetween the clamps, when i do it i will post pics.. |
