Looking at a 1 owner 2008 White Jeep Liberty Sport ,auto with 70,000 miles. Inside and out is almost showroom condition and has new tires. I can purchase it for $12,500.00 What do you think?? Would the miles scare you off? Car fax shows good service history. Was purchased and titled in NH and shows alot of oil and service done in OH,MA,FL so it looks like this has alot of highway miles. |

hey Bounty, i've got 83,000+ on my '08 and i'd want more than 12,500 for mine. i've taken extremely good care of it too, that's my thots! it's my first jeep so someone else could tell you certain things to look at that might give you wear and tear signs that i'm not familiar with, i'm still learnin' i guess. |

Wow really I have 33k on mine and kelly blue book says for a good condition it would go for $15,685 this does not account for the $4000 I have put into it for my JBA lift. Wonder what I could for mine thinking about it lately. |

I got mine 08 in 09 used w 21,000 miles, for 15k, but mine was a Rental from Arizona, so it was the Sport not the limited, it does have the fog and 4x4 and Privacy Glass which were my must have. I would only consider 4x4. I live in the NW and I feel the vehicles here are higher priced than other States. I came from Orlando Fl. and i was shocked to see the difference in price (FL being lower price by a couple of thousands). So it would be hard to tell, I personally like to look on lower mileage. I like to stay around 25K so I can take to the dealer as much as I can before the Warranty is out to get fix for free. My

Okay, something I forgot to mention was that I got mine when gas prices were climbing and economy going south, so no one was buying SUVs. I think that why I found the deal I found. I just on autotrader.com and did not see anything around the 12k w low miles, so I guess that would be about right. |

Well I purchased it. This is for my 16 year old son. He is not going to put alot of miles on so maybe in a few years it will even out. I purchased a 03 Liberty for my other son a few years ago and has had no problems with it so I figured I would get another. I also have a trouble free 01 Wrangler [besides putting a steering box in it right now if I can ever get the pitman arm off] that is a work horse used for snow plowig and towing behind our RV. |

Seems kinda high to me. I'm to lazy to look at KBB, but my 08 with 22,xxx on it was just rated at $19k. That doesn't include all of the stuff I have out in to it either. |

19k without ur added stuff seems high. I bought mine new for 22,600 and kb says 15,600 without the 4" jba lift and 32" tires installed which I spent about 4000. |

Ed lots of times adding mods to your vehicle, no matter how much you spent, will not add value to the vehicle, sometimes it decreases because people do not want the mods or find it may have been abused. You could possibly just have to wait longer to get your price or find someone who is really interested. |

Im not lazy and had a few min. to kill. A 08 with 22k private sale 16,250 retail 18,300. A 08 with 70k private 13,600 retail 15,650. This is from KBB. When you sell you wont get squat for any add ons its money pissed away. I have a 02 Ford 250 Superduty with over 8k in extras between injectors, chip, guages, lift, tires, rims, turbo, trans work, sound system and more I wont be seeing any of it back. If ya wanta play ya gotta pay. |

Your not right for the most part if you put money into your ride harder to get back. Most people just say that seems buyer have the better deal. With my lift being so new and now selling new for $3300 plus the $1100 for 5 32" tires plus to install the lift mostly $500. I have all the stock stuff and can sell it off the truck. Just pondering ideas |

This would be my first Jeep. Have wanted one forever. I'm looking at getting an '08 KK North Edition (Black) as a daily driver. I looked at one with 113,000 KM (air, cruise, tilt, am/fm, cd, pw, pdl, sunroof, 5psgr, alum rims, tinted windows) selling for $13,495 CDN. Reputable Dealer in Ontario, Canada. Do high KMs scare you guys off? Most vehicles, KM don't bother me. I'd like to get at least 5 yrs out of this. Also, the same dealer has the following: 2008 KK Liberty Sport 89,586 KM cost: $15,995 CDN ( air, cruise, tilt, am/fm, cd, pw, pdl, 5psgr, alum rims) 2006 KJ Liberty LTD 109,987 KM cost: $12,995 (SILVER / GREY - air, cruise, tilt, am/fm, cd, pw, pdl, p-seat, leather int, sunroof, 5psgr, heated seat) 2006 KJ Liberty LTD 83,541 KM cost: $14,995 (BROWN / GREY - air, cruise, tilt, am/fm, cd, pw, pdl, p-seat, leather int, sunroof, 5psgr, heated seat, navigation) 2007 KJ Liberty LTD 93,539 KM cost: $15,400 (SILVER / GREY - air, cruise, tilt, am/fm, cd, pw, pdl, p-seat, leather int, sunroof, 5psgr, heated seat) Opinions welcomed. By the way, I really like this forum. I'm hooked, just have to find something in my budget. |
