Hello all, long time member of this board and just traded my 02 in for a used 2010 sport model. I emailed jeep to get the build sheet so I knew what the jeep had on it. I found a few things interesting on the build sheet.
It claims it has heated side mirrors? I dont see any thing like what i had on my old jeep to control them? Must just work with the rear defroster? It also lists and item called Tip Start??

Not sure about the TIP Start...

The heated mirrors come on when you turn the rear defroster on. I can vouch for them 100%, they're REALLY nice little feature. In stop and go traffic, when it's snowing HARD and all other vehicles around me are re-covered in snow (after they've been brushed off already), i can see everything, everywhere.

Found it for you:

The TIP Start means that (I assume you've got an auto) you only have to turn the key over to "start" very briefly in order to start the motor.

Because the starter is no longer wired directly to the ignition, but rather the computer, the computer senses "oh, ignition time" and cranks until the motor starts. No need to hold the key until it starts.

Cool thanks! Did you just google it or find it in some sneaky spot?

You can also hold the key in the start position forever and it wont keep the starter going.
