Hey guys i have an 08 jeep liberty just hit 60,000 and just recently installed a tralier hitch with wiring harness. ive been having an issue with my gauge cluster lighting. i cant adjust the dimness anymore and if i set the cluster to the highest setting it stays somewhat dim until i turn the turn signal on and add pressure to the turn indicator then it flickers to bright? also my left headlight keeps shuting off? like sometimes doesnt turn on when i unlock the car with the keyless so i have to hit the head light and it turn on. and also turns off while driving occasionally. anyone know what it could be? thanks stan

I'm NOT an electrical guru - but sounds like you (or whoever did the install) buggered a ground wire somewhere when you put in the wiring harness...

Good place to start would be to go back to the wiring harness, and check, double, and triple check everything that you did. Loose wires are usually a bad thing.

Did you check all your fuses?

Dealer should also be able to diagnose the problem - they may, or may not, warranty it if you installed the harness yourself.
