If it's the Mopar Sport Utility Bars, I was under the impression that the key comes with any attachments that you buy (e.g. Snowboard carriers).

If you're talking about these

then there is no key. Flip up the part on the outside that looks like the upside down U or horseshoe (that surrounds something that does look like a locking key fits). You then turn it like you're winding, or unwinding, an old clock to loosen or tighten the clamp on the OEM roof rails.

Hope that helps.

No prob. That's part of the benefits of participating in a KK enthusiast community. 8)

I really like those roof rails. Can I put them on with a skyslider? And where can I get them?

hmm... I like the picture MtnLuvr - can you do me a favor?

Can you tell me how much distance is between your roof, and the bottom of the crossbar, preferably as it is right next to your side rail? Also, could you tell me the distance from the roof, to the top of the side rail?

Curious if I can jimmy these (or similar) onto my KK w/ skyslider.

Thanks.

Sorry BrendonR, but I haven't had those Jeep cross members on for a year or something. I installed an (RRO) roof rack late this past February. PM me this weekend and I can dig around through my notes to see if I've got the info you're looking for. I know I took some measurements.
