Interesting.. this answers some of my questions about that center console. My silver bezel rattles like a sun of a gun and i'm looking for a way to pad it or something... |

Mine rattles so bad sometimes I'll drive to work while holding it with my hand lol! After Christmas Im gonna install a new double din and I will do a full detailed write up on the entire process including wiring up the correct PAC harness because the newer Jeeps have a computerized turn on with no accessory power at the head unit. |

the padding inside generally falls off... to fix squeaks and rattles add more insulation.... also it helps to wire tire and organize wires behind the radio anything extra will rattle. other things that you may want to consider that are important are the clips attached to the bezel they sometime get stuck in the face... you should remove them and reattach to the bezel as u dont want to push them in and lose them... i've pulled off the face about 100 times, and that's not an exaggeration... going to pull it out again soon too, gotta mod/fix a few things. |
