Well i was originally drawn to the Jeeps by the roof lights and general badassery of the RENEGADE KJ's but after buying a KK it left my budget pretty depleted and i'm taking her on her maiden voyage to go snowboarding with my friend. already bought the weather techs, but i want to put additional lights on it! i see people bolting on the wrangler light bar to their bumper... but i cant really see myself drilling a hole like that =O... and i'm considering fabricating a light bar on the roof. but i also saw a few pictures with a bar coming out of the bumper... and then lights attached to that. can anybody help me? I really love the "Black revenge" the way he attached the lights are non obtrusive how exactly did you do that? basically the question im asking is... whats the easiest way to do this? i much prefer wiring under the hood into that little compartment in the dash. |

the way i did it was by drilling a bar into the bumper. It really isnt as bad as it sounds...but f your not into putting holes into your bumper give me about a month... i'm looking to get a design for a light bar mass produced which will be a simple and easy attachment to any stock/modded vehicle |

I will be drilling the JK bar to my bumper once it warms up a bit, and am horrified about doing it. We'll see how it goes.... Wife doesn't know that I'll be putting holes in the Jeep, so hope all goes well. |

Jeepin_it_real: Have you made any progress with the mass produced light bar that you mentioned? I think I am finally going to use the JK bar, unless something else has come up. |

There was a guy that put a KJ light bar on top. Looked awesome. I looked but my Search Powers are weak! |

Jeepin_it_real wrote: I think he did it, but i dont think the lights are aimed correctly yeah i agree. the angle of the roof is not the same. i cant see how it would fit properly without angled spacers. |
