Whose got them, or know someone who does? I was reading the newest JP Mag and they were doing something to help you buy tires which is great since I'm in the market and these were ones they reviewed. Great on road and even better off road for an A/T. They look sick too lol. Just wanna see if anyone has used them and if they like them. and if you dont know this is what they look like

Falken makes decent car tires (for the money) can't see that they would mess this up. they look nice. wonder how they wear. |

Last Nov. 2010, had to make a trip from AZ to upper state WA. for T.G. holiday. Tires on my CRD were just about ready to go, so I replaced them with Kuhmo KL78's. 235/70/16. Drove to WA. and hit bad weather, snow, ice etc. from Tacoma up to Ferndale WA. Tires performed very well. Also just made trip from AZ. to So. Shore Lake Tahoe couple weeks ago for a wedding, snow, ice etc. and happy with tires again. Good traction, good feel of the road, comfortable ride. Would buy them again. Actually bought them from my Jeep dealership, paid 10% over cost for them. Out the door for set of 4 just under $500. |

My best friend is about to put them on his lifted Sierra. He is replacing the Nitto Terra Grapplers with those Falken Wild Peak AT's next week. I'll let you know how he likes them when he gets a few miles on them. Discount made him a great deal on them. They beat the cheapest online price and actually included mounting, balancing, out-the-door less than just the tires shipped to him elsewhere. Here is the truck he is putting them on.

I just bought some Falken High Country ATs, I think they look fairly similar: So far, I've been impressed. They do great in the snow, but I haven't had much experience off road. With what little experience I have had, they've done great though! So far, I've put about 3-5k on them, and the best part is they were about $120 a piece installed! |

The high country and wild peaks have same tread, not sure if it's a marketing thing or they are changing name and have leftover high countrys..??? I have looked at these too, but am gun shy as I've been reading some reviews that they do not perform well on larger, heavier trucks in regards to sidewall flex. Even on the E load range, people have stated after they drive a few minutes and the tires get warm, they get a ton of sidewal flex and actually make truck feel unstable, not my personal experience, just what I've been reading. May not be an issue on the lighter libertys, but I will have to think hard before buying a set for my Tahoe... good thing they have a 30 day money back gaurantee. Look like a nice tire though. |

yeah its a toss up between them and the General Grabbers. It more for a "weekend warrior" type thing. Something that handles well on road, and come the weekend play times I can take it off and not have to worry about them. But they have to wait now. Found a small oil leak yesterday and not sure whats wrong yet. So I'm going to run it to the dealer on Friday for them to take a look since I'm still under factory warranty, and while its in there I might have them install a Mopar trailer hitch and some factory tow hooks so tires might have to wait till either my birthday or summer time. I'm debating buying the lift before I buy the tires or vice versa. |

Not exact same tread, but very similar. Looks like they added a little sidewall decor to the Wild Peak. Maybe they made the sidewall a little tougher too. High Country Wild Peak

I have asked Falken to make both of these in more 18" sizes. Finding a good 18" tire is a PITA. |

I thought the same thing, but it seems that every dealer who I talked to was under the impression that the High Country's were a relatively new tire, some didn't even have them available yet. But so far, I haven't experienced any of that sidewall flex issue, and mine aren't even 10 ply. They look pretty freaking sweet on the Libby! |
