Anyone have an idea how long the battery will last while watching a movie on the nav/radio or listening to music with the car turned off? |

Newer batteries have pretty long battery life. If you don't have a big aftermarket system the battery should last a few hours with just the radio on. On that note it takes less power to operate the radio then turn over an engine. Your radio might still work after a few hours but that doesn't mean there's enough power left to start your engine. No matter what I'm doing (working on the car, tailgating, etc.) I try to start the vehicle every hour or so and let it run for a few mins just to let the battery charge it self back up. |
