was wondering if the suspension on a Rennegade is different then other Liberty's. im thinkin bout getting the RK lift and wasnt sure if the RK would work for this model, also would i NEED to replace upper arms as the RK does not come with any.

its all the same, so yes, it will work. the a-arms will work fine but expect possible spring/a-arm contact over speed bumps with the stock arms, the jba a-arms should fix this. apparently the contact doesnt happen to everyone, happened to me but not others. another thing to look out for with the rock krawler is the hardware supplied is not the same strength as stock. they send 8.8 or grade 5 but should be replaced with 10.8 or grade 8. a quick trip to the hardware store will remedy that issue.

those numbers are the grade/class designator for the strength of the hardware. have a look at the chart in this link.

you can do it with no issues.. everything is the same... only difference is the new libertys come with a different style CV fork. kinda looks dinky. The RK will replace that ( just like it did on previous 2008+ libertys). You do not need to install JBA arms. Do i think it's a good idea, yeah cause it takes some stress off the rig. but they are by no means necessary. the RK lift also includes a spacer for the rear. this will raise the rear up. It isn't required, but new longer shocks for the rear should be considered. Not getting them right away is no issue, the only thing is your shocks might wear a lot faster. If you intend to add any ISOs to the rear to give you additional height, then i would say for sure get new shocks for the rear, that's what I did. If you got any more questions let me know

yea when i put my 3.5" RK lift in i used grade 8 for one side but i didnt have a extra one for the other side but i might go in again and replace it with a grade 8...
