I'm suppposed to go wheeling in like a week so i want this for sure to be taken came of as I'll be hours from home |

Did you check the level, it might just be a little low. Also have you ever done a coolant flush? It might be very dirty and need to be changed. Check the basics. |

On my older trucks the temp gauge was not Red until after 240. Back then thermostats were 190.So 206 is high now? |

I had a similar issue when I first got my jeep. My heater core blew a seal or something and was leaking coolant. I didn't realize until my light came on and my AC stopped working and smelled horrible. It was a warranty fix all the way, I'd suggest going to the dealers. |

On our 2010 Liberty there was a recall to have the thermostat replaced. If I remember correctly it was because of overheating. |

i have a 2008... it over heats then cools it self down... but it never really used to do this.... Hopefully i go to the beach tonight. I'm going to try my old radiator cap... maybe its a pressure issue or something stupid. if not when it goes in for an oil chance I'll have the fluids flushed and changed |
