Is it possible to take the orange reflectors that are on the front bumper off? If so, does anybody have a pic of how it looks? Thanks! |

You can, but it will leave a hole in your bumper. 1. remove the two fasteners on the splash guard at the bottom. all you have to do is pop the head up then you can remove the body. 2. using a 11MM snake your hand and ratchet up inside of the bumper. There is a single quick nut that hold the reflector to the bumper. 3. once the nut is off, push on the reflector from the inside on the bottom, then pull down to remove it from the bumper |

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. 2. Partially remove the liner from the front of the front fender wheel house. (Refer to 23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/FRONT WHEELHOUSE SPLASH SHIELD - REMOVAL). 3. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the connector receptacle integral to the bulb socket on the back of the front side marker lamp housing (1) located on the inside of the outboard-facing end of the front fascia (2). 4. Remove the nut (3) that secures the stud near the bottom of the lamp housing to the inside surface of the front fascia. 5. Disengage the lower edge of the lamp from the outer surface of the front fascia, then pull it slightly downward to disengage the tab at the top of the housing from the notch in the fascia.

Hmm.. I was thinking that the orange part was just a cover over a regular clear light? |

There is a clear bulb, but the orange lens is only one part of the bulb housing |

So is there a clear lens under the orange lens? Like how on most cars you can heat the orange lens up and then 'peel' it off? |

Nope. If you were able to peel the orange lens off, you would only expose the hollow cavity around the light bulb. The KK did come with clear reflector in the euro market, but they don't have a light socket built in to them... |

Ahh.. I gotcha. So is there a way I could possibly change the color of it? I'm trying to balance my Stone White KK out with chrome, black, and white... and the orange just throws it off imo. |

You could always try and order a euro set. Granted you won't have them lighted any more, but they are clear. These are the export numbers. 57010126AA 57010127AA I don't know if you can get them over here though..... All of the sets I have seen over here have come from UK people. |

These are the EURO part numbers? Are the the same numbers here? Because searching for them through state-side companies they come up with reflectors, but I wouldnt think that they would be selling clear ones... |

you can only get those parts ordered form europe... they may come up but no dealer will sell them or get them for you... one of my contacts was able to get them in the past. if you are truly interested i can try again, but note IT IS JUST A REFLECTOR. no bulb at all. This was fine for me since i used the voltage that powered the original bulb for something else but again its only just a clear reflector |

I'm interested in a set as well, so please let me know how we can get some. I'm close to you in Westchester, so I could easily pick them up from you. |
