I've purchased a new Jeep Liberty Jet Package w/ the Media Center. Is there any easy way to edit music that you record to the HDD? There has to be a way to edit an entire folder's genre right? Please please tell me there is.

There is no way to edit the whole folder. You can only edit each song one by one. The thing to do is to make sure all your ID3 tags are set before you upload them to the HDD. Good luck ...

And make sure that you add all of the songs you want per folder that you want at the same time....if you try to add later it will create duplicate folders.....so you have to remove all music in a folder, then add them all in again....real pain in the booty if you ask me...

Ok, I'm looking for tips on using this :furious: radio. I'm trying to transfer music over slowly via a USB drive. I've downloaded a mp3tag editor software, updated all the genres of music. I then even checked some of them by right clicking and showing the properties of the file. They'll say XYZ genre on the PC. Put them on the drive and put them in the Jeep and load them. :furious: :furious: :furious: Half of them have the correct genre, then half have unknown or some other crap.

Any ideas on what I'm screwing up here? I'd really like to transfer my music over as I think it's a great feature. But by no way am I editing the genre (I'm not even going to mess with album title, etc etc) one by one on half of what I transfer. I'm almost wishing I went with the cheaper radio.

IDk about sorting by genre, but what was easiest for me was creating a folder for every itunes playlist that I had, and literally dragging and dropping the play lists into those folders...then when i uploaded them into the Jeep, I uploaded all of the folders and just play them from there....go to menu, folders, and there are all of the different artists I want, or mixed playlists....I've never seen a device work 100% on genres simply bc of how the files are saved...even songs that ive purchased from itunes don't always appear in the right genre, so save some time and ditch the genre theory...IMO
