We just had a nice KK dropped off for Slider prototyping! We should be done and ready to put these on the market by next Monday. I'll post some pics as we get further along. The plan is to offer three stages, just like we do for all our other sliders. |

Darn thing shot up and hit the Jeep on the side right between the front and rear door glass. Talk about lucky! I just knew I had this huge dent but it was just scratched! Phew! |

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to the latest KK mod available (well, eventually)... JCROffroad's new, thanks to me, of course Yes, I have the first set of these in existence, period! Big THANKS to JCROffroad to making these specifically for me and my KK! You guys did a WONDERFUL job and these look sturdier than the "frame" of the Jeep itself! I can't wait to try them out! (And even better, having my Jeep ready as promised even though *I* was late picking it up!) But I swear you guys don't want to know what I went through.... my knees are still sore.... Now, for pics! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks good! Now go scratch them up on some rocks. I have always wondered how sliders on a KK bolt in to the "frame" rails, especially in the rear driver side since the gas tank is butted up next to the rail. |

Any pics from underneath? Like to see the mounting points and the support brackets for it. I was looking at JCR's website and they had 3 stages for the KJ, is that how it is going to be for the KK? If so, what stage are these? |

I don't have any pics from underneath but you can check out the other JcrOffroad Sliders thread in the Ohio section, these look pretty similar. But these are the "Stage 3" Sliders they offer. No other stage would have made me happy. Until I test these things offroad, I am waiting for someone to slam their door into my Jeep in a parking lot....

We'll have more information in the next couple days as well as more pics. The pricing looks like it will end up being close to the same as the KJ sliders. |

I was on your website and was looking at the KJ Stage 3 sliders. Here are the pics from your site of the KJ. Yours mount the frame just like all others but don't have any other support brackets/braces for reinforcement. ![]() MtnLuvr had a similar design from RRO and well they didn't fair too well on the trail. ![]() ![]() MtnLuvr then decided to fab his own to be "a little" more sturdy. ![]() The main reason I bring this up is because I'm curious as to 1: how will yours handle on the trail if really beat up on? 2: warranty/guarantee on them? Thanks, |

Would it be to extream to think about adding a Cut in Half tube bolted to the support piece comeing out fo the frame. This would be a Round surface to Deflect the rock instead of a flat surface to be dragged across and snagg... Also it could be replaceable.. That will increase proffits long term... This is a idea at best, or better, A way to add more strength to the support pieces... I just hate seeing pieces that will get Hard hard use be so Small and week.. I am not an Engineer but I do undstand 5K pounds crashing down on Rock.. |

We have a lifetime warranty on our products. We use this design on every uni-frame slider we develop. We have sold 1,000+ pairs of sliders over the years and have yet to repair a set under our warranty. That doesn't mean some haven't bent, broken, etc... it just means no one has told us. The biggest difference I can see in the Rocky Road sliders is they use 1 x 1 square tube for the legs, and we use 1 x 3. I'll be happy to answer any more questions you have. Here is a short video clip a customer sent us a few years ago, he said there was no damage after this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEI4K2RPvKU |
