Can anyone with stock suspension tell me how big the gap is between the the REAR bumpstops and the lower spring perch when sitting level? The reason i ask is the Daystar rear spacers are hollow and i need to make some bumpstops that will not allow too much articulation and overcompress my springs. |

Will Rim and Tire size changes these measurements? I have 18inch with 235/60/18.. Not sure if the numbers will mess you up.. |

Nope rim/tire size wont matter. Just need a good photo of the spring including the orange upper bump stop and the lower spring mount. Thank you |

why not just fill the hollow portion of the spacer and then say add an inch or two on top for a bump stop. with my lift ive only got 3" Zone bumpstops. |

Yeah i already did fill the hollow portion flush with the top of the spacer, but there is only like 1 1/4" gap between the bumpstops. I'm wondering if that is too close, so i wanted to see what the gap looks like from the factory. I will probably just take out the spacers and see more myself and go from there. |

Here you go I hope this is what you are looking for had to take the wheel off but the rear was at ride height and on level ground. ![]() ![]() It was hard to hold the tape measure and snap photo at same time |

Thanks Inferno! That helps me out a lot. I hope you had that wheel off for something else and not just for me. Now i know i'm not going crazy because i thought for sure there was a bigger gap than 1". Mine is now at 1 1/4" so i think I'll be fine. Thanks again. |

No I had to rotate wheels so i figured i could get some quick measurements for you. Let me know if you need anything else. infernicus wrote: //just thinking out loud// Wowza, The rear end sits pretty low on the KK's. //end thoughts// I was quite shocked when i saw the size of the stock rear springs.... Those things are tiny... looks like it time for a lift! |
