I have a Flowmaster Super 44 like a few others do here. I left the resonator on for now, and I'm happy with it. Depending on the temperature it can get pretty loud still. I think Digger and Jeepin_it_Real both have the same muffler except they removed the resonators.

I'm running the thrush welded and love it. No highway drone, but definitley deeper and more aggresive than stock. I'll see i i can post a sound clip/video for you.

I've been talking to a guy who does custom exhausts around here, and he's recommended the 40 series b/c it has the same sound out the back as the super 44, but its not as loud inside the car, so it doesnt drown out your radio or anything.

can anybody attest to the cabin noise with the super 44?

With the resonator the 44 can only really be heard above 2K.

I have the super 44 installed with no resonator. The cabin noise does not bother me very much. Crusing on the Autobahn it has almost no cabin noise against my tires and all the wind. Driving around base isn't bad either, I usually drive with the windows down to enjoy the day and the sound. I personally love it. I shift at about 4k, usually around then it gets kinda obnoxious after a whole though.

Hope this helps.
