My dad just bought a new 2011 Liberty Sport equipped almost the same as mine, and now I'm jealous. His steering wheel is leather wrapped with integrated controls for cruise and audio, as opposed to my cheap plastic one with no controls whatsoever. Anyone know if it's possible to swap in a 2011 steering wheel, and if so about how much it would cost? |

My guess is that it is probably mechanically possible to swap the wheels, but that you may need both a wiring harness and possibly an upgraded stereo (that can receive the other end of the harness) in order to make the controls actually do anything. I could be wrong though. Never tried it myself. |

Your probably looking at 300 to 400 in parts alone, but it is doable. |

Who cares how much it costs. The only thing I'm worried about is the airbag... I want the steering wheel too. The leather just feels sooooo much better than the leather on my Renegade wheel. |

I just bought a house so I couldn't afford to do it right now anyway, but I was curious because I could see having it done at some point. |
