yup, pretty sure my CLANK noise is a CV issue as it happens much more often now and occasionally i get multiple small clanks in a row. hapens when going over bumper or pulling forward/ back and applying the brakes firmly ( not slamming on them). happens regularly when i turn etc. What am I looking at as far as parts s for replacement as well as any special tools i may need. How's the labor that involves the replacement as well?

1.With the KK on the ground, remove the 35MM or 36MM axle nut.
2. Jack the KK up so the wheel is off the ground. Place under the LCA
3. Place a jack stand under the KK and lower the jack so all of the weight is on the stand. leave the jack snug on the LCA.
4. Remove the wheel.
5. Remove the caliper and pop open the black clips that hold the brake line to the ABS sensor wire.
6. pop the tie rod.
7. pop the UBJ.
8. remove the clevis. lower the LCA as needed
9. put the axle nut back on to the shaft hand tight!
10. While applying downward pressure to the knuckle, use a rubber mallet or dead blow to loosen the splines on the half shaft (ie: smack the nut)
11. once the shaft is loose in the splines, push down on the knuckle and push or pull on the out board side of the half shaft.
12. once you are free from the knuckle, use a small prybar and apply pressure to the inboard side of the half shaft using the axle as your pry point.
13. When you go to reinstall the half shaft, apply some never seez to the splines of the half shaft. It will help with install and will help you in the future should you ever need to do a half shaft again.

5189279AA is the P/N of the left shaft. Depending on how bad the joint is, you might be able to have it rebuilt.
