I just noticed this today http://www.rocky-road.com/liberty_skyslider_rack.html. ![]() Looks like there is finally a rack on the market for the Sky Slider. Has anyone on here tried it yet? I'm a little concerned with the stability of those A-Frame arms, especially if you put a rack on top with some load. |

I had a welder make me something similar, there are pics here somewhere. I wouldnt worry about the stability and the price is good, especially if its powder coated. My one complaint is it will require removing 16 nuts to remove it. Consider if you can fit in the garage with it on. |

Sadly my KK isn't garaged so the fit isn't really an issue, unless I take it downtown... It would be nice to be able to secure some stuff on the top though. |

I just ordered one for my '08. I have the same rigidity concern as I plan on putting a Eezy-Awn tent up on mine. They assured me it will not overload the rack. But with the light off-roading I plan on doing I might want to reinforce it. Will just have to see when it gets here. I got the instructions for the roof rails and it requires getting up under the headliner inside the rear doors and the lift gate. Not sure how I feel about that. |
