| Post subject: | Noob with a budget lift question |
I own a 2008 jeep liberty sport completely stock accept for tint (got it today!! And it looks great!!) ive been looking at the Rock Krawler lift kit. I keep seeing that I'll need to replace the rear Shocks. Now don't get me wrong, I am very mechanically inclined, I'm a steamfitter in dc, I can rebuild a boiler fix a 40 ton rooftop air handler and build pretty much anything on a construction sight. But when it comes to cars I am completely clueless. My question is, how do I know what shocks to buy, brand, size, lenth and what do I need to look for???? Any help and suggestions would be great. Also if somebody with this lift could tell me what they think of it....thanks |
