| Post subject: | Warm/Hot Air With Everything Off |
Greetings, This is for my wife's new 2012 KK Jet. We noticed the other day our lower legs felt hot. I was wearing shorts (outdoor temps was 70), so I noticed it was coming from the lower vent. We checked the knobs and the AC/Heater was off and the temp knob was set to coldest setting. We played with the settings and turned on the AC, set to lower vents, then top, etc. Then we turned it off and we no longer felt any hot or cold air coming from any of the vents. We figured it was a glitch or w/e, so we shrugged it off. Last night she tells me the inside feels warm again, mainly in her lower legs and she feels the problem came back. Anyone else experience a similar problem? I've been in some cars that let some air through the vents into the cabin, but the air that randomly comes through the lower vents is HOT. Almost as if it's set to lower vents, low fan speed on heat. |

check the rubber seal at the back of the hood - if it's off - you'll get under hood air - blowing into the air vents at the base of the windshield. |

I have the same problem with my 2010. It has always done this and your description matches exactly to what im experiencing. It seems like the faster I go, the more air I feel on my legs. However, it seems like this is the case when I have the AC or heat on as well. |

Last night we took her Jeep to do some errands at night. I was wearing shorts again to test it out (it was a chilly night! lol..). I definitely feel air coming through, only it wasn't hot or warm this time. But felt "room temperature". After my quick look and see, I'll just let the dealer deal with it and happy huntings to them lol. |
