For those of you that have the JBA upper control arms, did you open up the a-arm pockets or not? I can understand that it would allow for a bit more wheel travel but is it a difference worth the additional effort? I'm just trying to get a feel for the advantages and any disadvantages prior to putting these on. Any feedback would be appreciated. |

Some people open the pockets a bit. Others let the arms open them up. If you go the latter route, your arms will get scratched up. If you open them up too much, you can have too much down travel and put too much stress on the CV's. I opened mine up. If I were. To do it again, I'd let the arms flatten the pockets. Good luck. |

Thanks infernicus, I think I'll follow your advice and just let nature take it's course on the pockets. |

I have a KK and I was not going to widen mine. Then I did. What I saw was the "pocket is one size this I left alone. But I had 2-3 pieces of sheet metal that was not all lined up with the pocket, thats what I trimmed.Seems to have worked. |

Your welcome. I should have taking pictures of mine before and after. If you do decide to trim don't forget to spray the bare metal with some primer/ paint. |
