I want to paint my bumpers and flares to look like the new renegades the look is a lot more rugged than my 2010 sport. How should i go about doing this? I was planning on plasti dipping it like my grille but if anyone knows a better alternative any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks and keep hehe Edit: And the hood decal should i plasti dip that too? Thanks again |

Here's a link to a thread where someone used plastidip on their flares and badges. viewtopic.php?f=88&t=60671&p=684626&hilit=plastidip#p684626 Other people have used bed liner. I've looked into having mine professionally bed-lined and all the quotes are over $1K. You can also use rattle can bed liner or buy DIY roll on kits at any auto parts store. There are mixed feelings about the results from what I've read. Never seen any of them in person though. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=62598&start=20 At the bottom of the page there's pics of his KJ with flares bedlined. Hope that helps! |

Hmmm this is tough im probably just gonna plasti dip it and see how it comes out because its easily removed and it more of a matte finish which i like. Thanks a lot though. Ill post pics when im done |

Once again removal is not easy. It would have been easier if i used like 6-8 cans for the bumpers and flares instead of 3. |
