| Post subject: | Door Warning Light on |
This morning after starting up my Liberty I noticed the 'door' warning light was on where the odometer is. I checked all the doors and closed them firmly (including the rear hatch) and it still didn't go off. I drove around a bit and it didn't seem to go away. When I closed/locked the doors the interior lights are staying on so I pulled the battery so it doesn't die. Does anyone know what the problem could possibly be?? |

Resetting it seems to have fixed it (for now). |

Came back this morning. I figured out it is my front passenger side door that causes it because when I reclosed the door the warning stopped. When I went out on lunch the warning light came back though and I wasn't able to get rid of it again. |

Currently trying to replace the passenger door latch. I can't get the interior door panel off ![]() Can anyone help? I took out all of the bolts and unscrewed the latch on the side but I can't yank it off (it looks like there's a plastic piece that's holding it on right at the top outside corner. Picture of where I am right now... I can't really fit the camera inside the door panel so I can't get a good shot of the other side. ![]() edit: Had to push in a nipple and disconnect the panel from the window, then there were clips that needed to slide forward. |
