Those are the vents,the battery acid has boiled.Good sign your overcharging or the battery is on it's way out. |

my 06 renegade battery was leaking just like that. it lasted a couple months before the rear hatch window started opening by itself. i searched this site and found that its a sign of a bad voltage output so i replaced the battery right away. window hasnt opened since. |
