At the time Tire Rack had the cheapest price
Tireman matched their price then threw in free mounting, balancing, valves, end of the month, best time to go in
One Goodyear store told me there was no such tire made by Goodyear
second Goodyear store wanted over 50 more per tire than what I bought them for and no way was they going any lower
Duratracs were a fairly new tire on the market when I bought mine though

I got mine at Tire Rack also. At the time, Goodyear had a $50 rebate on them too, so it helped with the price. You might check Goodyear to see if there's any discounts being offered right now.

I think discounttiredirect.com has them. Free shipping and no sales tax.

Duratracs are great tires. I drive on them every day at work down range here in colorado. Not as tough as the MTRs w/kevlar but a bit better in the snow. Have fun with them cat001kk.

Duratracs are great tires... but you HAVE to rotate them when they're sposed to get rotated, and be sure your alignment is in check at all times. These are NOT forgiving tires at all.

.... ask me how I know.

just got my set of 5 (same size as you want) from the Goodyear Service Center and got a 80 rebate. I checked all over town and they had the best price of anyone. in fact they were sort of hard to come by. I love them and they have done great in the wet stuff. snowing hard tonight here so tomorrow will be one of the first runs on the white stuff.

I have a set in 225/75/16. I wish I could have bought 245/70/16, but they dont make that size.

They're loud on road, but they're tough and get it done off road/in snow. In another year, I'll get a new set, hopefully in the size I want

Any comments as to ride quality/road noise in that size Duratrac (245 75 16)? I belive that's an E rated size? Looking to change the GY ST's ASAP.

I think any size is going to have bad ride quality with high road noise. But that's not why you buy these. You buy these because they're tough and they bite in on the trail.
