So after a while of looking, I can't seem to find anyone that sells the Jet Edition lights as a kit. What would happen if you had a Jet Edition and you needed a replacement headlight? Does anyone think a dealership would sell me the lights and a kit? |

You mean the whole headlight assembly? You should be able to get them from any dealer or sites like mopar-wholesale.com. If you want the blacked out ones you can do Renegade, Jet, or Arctic. |

They sell them here http://www.justforjeeps.com/lijetblhe.html But it is less expensive here. http://moparonlineparts.com/repair-parts.php Search for part# 68079710AA and 68079711AA $280.60 for the pair. Ask for Benny. No I am not Benny. They are great folks to deal with. I have gotten many parts from them. |

Thanks guys! The mopar-online site isn't loading the page for the renegade lights. I found em' on mopar-wholesale for about $150 a headlight, just like musclezmarinara said. I figured that I could buy the left and right headlight assembly and get the harness and switch from my dealership. Its probably gonna cost me around $300 (Lamp Assembley) + $100 (Switch/Harness) + $100 (Installation). $500 seems like a lot, but its only about $100 more than the standard fogs. I think they said they'd cut me a deal if I had them install and buy through the dealership. Gotta love RI, everything's negotiable. Thanks again guys! |

Sorry for the broken link. Here is the moparonlineparts multiple part search link enter the above part #s. They will come up. Shipping is a little more but the price is less. Will save you a buck over what mopar-wholesale has listed. |

The Sport/limited lights w/ fogs are $180. Do the renegade lights not come with fogs? thats so weird. Found these on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/JEEP-LIBERTY-RENEGADE-DARK-HEADLAMP-HEAD-LAMP-MOPAR-OEM-/350473315783#ht_2419wt_1037 Do the 2011 rene headlights fit an 08? forgot to ask that. I wouldnt see why they wouldnt |

I'm pretty sure they come with the fogs. But just to be on the safe side give Benny a call 877-229-0427 |

Thanks i'll give him a call tomorrow, I decided to just grab the left and right housings and just hook up the HID fog kit I have directly to a switch. That way I don't need the fancy new switch n harness. |

I want to upgrade my fogs, but with the Renegade/Jet edition "blacked-out" bezels. Looks like it would involve purchasing everything separately, so my question is, what part number should I use to buy the harness? I can figure out what the multifunction switch one is, but can't seem to find the harness in the catalog. Is it ONLY sold with the fog lamp kit? Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

You could do what I did. I just finished it today. Here's the thread http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=69557 |

I really would prefer the integrated fogs on the multifunction switch though. Can anyone with the fog harness get any info off of it for me? There has to be something that identifies it. |

Also, the kit comes with the switch that doesn't have auto headlights, so I'll have to buy another switch just to keep my auto headlights. |

I understand about the baking but you can practice on your old headlight(s)...I might do it...I have a spare. |

This is what I think I'm going to do: Buy kit to get the harness and switch ~ $300 Buy blacked-out headlamps ~ $300 Sell kit headlamps ~ $200 Sell original headlamps ~ $175 Sell original switch ~ $50 Net cost is $175, no baking required, and I do without the auto setting on the switch. |

You're going to run into the same issue I had when I tried that. Unfortunately due to newer computer controlled cars, you need to take it to a dealership that has StarScan and have them update the computer in order for your KK's computer to recognize that it has fog lights. I tried around my area and the minimum quote I got was $100. Unless you know some1 at the dealership who's willing to do it for free. |

Baking your headlights is very easy and you're cost would be about two hours of time and a $5 can of black paint. Also if you bake them you can get creative and do what I did on my 08 ... Paint them white, or any color you want, instead of black.

The white bezel looks awesome! Mine is charcoal without a bit of chrome on it. The headlights look like they belong on a Cadillac or something with the chrome bezels! I think the only way for me to go would be black. It also sounds like there is no way to get the fogs installed (without running a separate switch) without going to the dealer and paying for an hour of labor to "turn on the fog lights" with the StarConnect. Chrysler sure hasn't made this upgrade easy. |
