I need to know where i can get Fender Flares for my 2012 Liberty KK. I want to remove my front bumber and make a custom one in my shop but I need to know where i can get the fender flares first so i can price em out and order em. Any ideas? I have been to a few sites already and im not having much luck. im on a 24 hour shift and not a lot going on so im searching!

So, just to make sure im reading that right. there are no stock ones only aftermarket. or there are only stock ones and not any aftermarket. How difficult would it be to make my own. i do have a fab shop back in alaska.

There are stock ones that you can get from your dealership, but no one makes any after market replacements.

Yea im trying to change the design I want to Put a custom bumper on but i feel that the fenders will stick down lower than the bumper so i figure new fenders may make it easier to customize the bumper the way i want

You could trim the flares like people do with arb bumpers.

I have thought about that but my only concern is if i wanted to return it to factory settings later on. I am military so im trying to keep my vehicle versatile to be changed to my different duty stations. I may have no other option but to trim them i was just hoping to be able to find some new ones that are already what i want. Is it possible to just make my own and if so how hard do you think itd be?

Honestly I have no idea how difficult it would be to make your own, but a good guy to pm and ask about it would be kjwildman, he made his own and they look great.

no winch on the front? Another thing im interested in is getting a winch that i can mount in my receiver and power off my trailer power. what you think?

The bottom of the grille is is a straight line and the flares are cut to match that line.

I didn't and don't have the $$ for a winch, but i can easily modify my bumper for one if i ever want to.

Are you talking about your trailer wire harness? If so, no way. Winches should come with a wire kit and use a heavy gauge wire directly to your battery.

I wonder if i can wire it up and have a quick disconnect then, like for my trailer hook up. just have it sit near that and then i can disconnect and use when needed?

Not sure about what to do for wiring on a rear hitch mount winch. You could probably run zero gauge all the way back there, but i couldn't say for sure.

I have about 60 mechanics and a whole group of electronic repair people in my unit that i can always get to work that out. I just like the idea of being able to run my winch from my vehicle or just take it off and throw it on someone elses to have em pull themselves out in case i cant get to em. probably looking at a completely detatchable system. wiring and all.

Welding cable should work. That and snowplow plugs.
