I have been using 4 lo occasionly when coming out of a boat ramp, and sometimes its not going in, other times it takes a while to get out of 4 lo. Last wknd it would not go in at all and the service 4wd light came on until several key starts. Anyone experience this or know what may be the problem? |

Can you hear the shift motor when you select 4wd/4low? Have you changed the t-case atf fluid ever? Grinding noise? |

No grinding or noise of any kind. The tranny fluid was changed but not the diff or transfer case, so yeah I quess they should be done. |

If you don't hear that motor engage then it wont shift the t case. Not saying its the motor itself, could be something in the electronics too. Your jeep has been in service for almost half a decade now, maybe getting those fluids changed is a good idea |
