... I am ready to transform my 4x4 2011 KK from a family vehicle to a manly off-roader if you know what I mean. What I think I want to do is; Lift kit 2.5"-4" Black rims with bigger / more aggressive new tires New gearing for the bigger tires + lift Skid Plates somewhere to put a hi-lift jack Cool Air intake Muffler Maybe a top rack (But Im having a hard time finding something that works with the roof rails that are on the car already because they are different then the say 2009 model) or even where to mount fog lights (for the fog lights I was thinking LED but not sure) a winch and rock sliders / rock rails I would like to hear / see ANY ideas that anyone has on any aftermarket upgrades or parts that would be great because I have no idea on where to start. Here is what I have done so far; Took the headlights apart and painted the insides, ![]() Tinted the windows with 5% (Limo Tint) and also blacked out the taillights and sidemarkers, ![]() ![]() Also does anyone know if you can take the front blinkers apart to paint the inside? Will the same process of taking apart the headlights work for them too? Thanks, JeepMonkey

Welcome to lost Jeepmonkey. Take a look around a bit to see what others have done. Jeepinbyal.com is a great site that sells stuff for the kk. A popular lift for the liberty is old man emu, which gives about 3" of lift to a newer liberty if running the hd springs. There is a 4" available from jba also. Most will say to regear for anything bigger than a 245/75/16 tire. Skids- dealership or custom Skyjack...maybe you mean hi lift jack. There is a roof rack that replaces the factory rails available at rocky road outfitters. Check out others experiences with them and decide for yourself whether or not you want to deal with them. Fog lights- there is a bar that can be modified to screw into your bumper to hold them or go custom. Winch- detours usa makes a winch cradle for a kj that will fit a kk. Plastic trimming will be differebt though. Or hire someone to build you a steel winch bumper... |

As far as muffler dont waste money on a full exhaust, you will not receive the added claim hp. if you want louder go with a replacement and drop the resonator completely. will free up some air without the high cost of a full kit. I paid 200 for everything and it was done the way I wanted. I have a Flowmaster super 44 and it is loud compared to stock. Many others have the same muffler but different setups. Many lifts out there and many other universal options for various aftermarket stuff, especially for hilift mounts and what not |

Does Rock Lizard have roof rails for the KK? Last time I checked they only had them for the KJ. Maybe I should send them an email lol. |
