So my KK's got the headlights without fogs >:( Anyway, i plan on buying the assembly with integrated fogs and wiring them to a switch somewhere in the cab. (Not on the wand as i don't have the switch on it. I had a topic about this a while back and for some odd reason, I thought I had a fog switch on the wand. BASIC NEWBIE MOVE.) Alright back on subject... I have basically no idea where to start with this. Does anyone have a write up on how to wire the fog lights to a flip switch or button? I know mawlkrawler did this exact same thing and has a write up but it doesn't go to in depth on the wiring itself. Any help is appreciated! |

The accessory kit from mopar for the fogs includes wiring and a new stalk with a fog switch iirc. You could do your own switch with a relay but i think you might wish you just got the kit especially after spending $200 on new housing, then wire, relay switch, toggle switch, etc. I like the factory fogs because they automatically turn on and off with the headlights. |

http://www.justforjeeps.com/foglights3.html Comes with the fogs and the stalk. I want to do this as well and if i had the 270 it would already be done. basically it comes with everything you need to install, and after installation you go to a dealership and get your jeep starscanned to allow your computer to use the fogs

I just had the headlights replaced because there was no Fog lights. The dealer replaced the whole lighting system and installed the switch on the turn signal just like oem. Works great cost was about $250.00 |

I actually tried to install the OEM kit ones first. They're kind of a pain if you don't know what your doing. I really didn't know what I was doing lol. Anyway, if you get a OEM kit ik it requires you to take a bunch of wiring harnesses out of your fusebox to insert the new wires for the fogs, and bring it to the dealership after for a Starscan update. If you get a good deal at a dealership to install and order them that might be a good idea. Otherwise you can hook em up like I did and just hook them up to a simple toggle switch. Only thing is I never hooked the OEM wiring harness up to a toggle so I'm kinda fuzzy on how to do it. I bought a pair of housings with no kit or anything and put in some leftover HIDs that I had. Although I'd be glad to offer any advise I can with wiring. Electricuted myself enough that I think I got the hang of it jk
