While I continue to search for the Export "cherokee" door moldings, I decided to see how this looked.

I always liked the Defender and Discovery "LAND ROVER" stickers on the hood and I did the same thing to a Trooper I had.

Looked cool on the trooper...what do you guys think?

Looks alright, but didn't you have to remove the Jeep badging on the hood? Blasphemy!

Also, the air dam needs to go.

Yep and I want to grind it off. Or replace with something plain.

Yeah, the chrome JEEP had to go. Replaced with the MOPAR hood decal with double JEEPs 8)

As far as the air dam,
I appreciate its function so I am not in a hurry to remove it. My plan is to paint the front bumper and fender flares with the same deceptive black shadow line that makes the wheel openings look bigger on the JEEP Cherokee Overlander. I will decide then.

Yes, they do.
Strike one.
They are chrome.
Strike two.
They are recessed, so I cant even grind them off. :furious:
Strike three, I want them off of there.
I tried to order the export moldings but was denied. I thought you were going to get some from some Canadian molding trapper(or something like that  ).

I even tried emailing a few jeep dealers down in australia and got no response.

I agree the black shadow on the overlander looks good, but even it has no air dam.

I'm in Aus and so have Cherokee mouldings in chrome on my doors, I personally love the jeep on the hood and reckon it looks great!

Nice I like, so maybe if I grind off mine(raised letters) and screw it up I can use this too.
