I'm really liking what I'm seeing and reading about the Treadwright Guard Dogs. Thing is, the 245/75/16 is an Load range E, which seems to be too much tire for a KK. They do have P-metric and Load Range D in the 265/70/16 however, either of which might be better. Just wondering if I'll have issues with rubbing with the 265/70/16. |

I had that size on 16x8 rims w/5" back spacing. There was slight run where the pinch weld is. The guard dogs run bigger then most tires and would rub worse. On stock rims they will also rub a lot worse. The retreads are also very heavy. Even if you get p rated or d range tires. |

Thanks. That's kind of what I thought. I'm going to need tires before the snow flies. I'm probably going to have to pony up extra $$$ for a new 245 in the proper load range, or go with the Guard Dogs in LRE. Thing is, I can probably save over $200 on the tires plus mounting and balancing going with the Dogs. |

I dont have any backspacing on my tires and a 3.5" lift and had a bit of rubbing, although I ended up trimming my front bumper which solved most of the problem. As for the 265's Roastbeef just installed some. Threads below http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=71963 |
