Need help relocating evap cannister

Post subject:  Need help relocating evap cannister
I wanted to see i anyone has any advice and know how on this. I don't have any problem building bracketry to relocate it, but i what do i do for the elecrical and two other lines?

The green highlighted cable i'll guess is a sensor for the obd2 emissions. Can i just extend the wires to where i need them to be or is running a couple feet of extra wire going to add too much resistance?
The yellow highlighted tube goes up to the gas fill, i'll assume to catch any overflow of gasoline? Its flexible and can't see any poblems extending it with fuel line (if i can find the size) except not sure if it needs to maintain a downward angle to where it reaches the cannister.
The red highlighted tube is what worries me. It is the tube that i'll assume gasoline vapor travels through since it runs to the fuel tank. It is hard plastic. Can I just cut this open and splice in an extension made with fuel line? I dont want to cut it and find out my plan won't work.
I havn't decided yet, but i'd like to move it just behind the gas tank (better) or just turn it on its side, allowing it to tuck up a few more inches.

Making a rear bumper are ya? You might try sending mtnluver a pm for ideas. I'm pretty sure he did the same thing when he installed his rear bumper.

Thanks that was my first thought but he hasn't posted for so long i don't know how much use it'll be. I give it a shot though.

I do know from some experience in my FJ that wire connections can be very sensitive. I broke the plastic around a wheels speed sensor and the whole wire had to be replaced. Depending on the distance resistance shouldnt be an issue, but if you are adding a lot of distance you might look into using a great distance of lower gauge wire. Also just being Capt obvious but before cutting anything be sure there isnt a lot of gas in the tank just in case, but im sure you thought of that already. GL with the experiments, they usually turnout great.
