No can not use the daystars
Buy new top mounting plates from NAPA
or if you have the stock plates stop by NAPA they can get you the studs

This turned into a big pita for me...
First i put the stock studs back in the stock top plates after mounting them in the daystar plates. Most went in fairly tight and held, but one unlucky stud just spun in the top plate when i tightened down the nut when mounting reinstalling. This is because the knurls were smoothed over from installing and reinstalling. Thank goodness it was one of the outboard studs that i could grab with vise grip to hold it while getting the nut back off. Took everything in to napa and the parts guy and me went through the entire catalog and couldn't find anything with the same knurl diameter/knurl length. Finally settled on some that had a slightly larger knurl diameter but i had to bore out the holes in the top plates for them to fit.
Had I owned a welder back then I could have just welded the studs back in to the top plates.
Long story short, MAKE SURE THEY WILL HOLD TIGHT IN THE TOP PLATES!
I'll see if i can find the pn for the new studs I used.

Napa part # 641-1622
You'll need to replace the nuts too since its a m12x1.75 and stock is m12x1.5

I might be wrong but the original knurl diameter should be 13.9 mm. The ones i listed are 14.3. The shoulder length needs to be short enough to not pop through the other side of the top plate thus not letting it lay flat against the kk's body.
