For those of y'all that regularly off road and use (abuse) the "Brake Lock Differential". How often do you have to replace your brakes (front and rear)? I know everybody wheels differently and mine won't wear exactly the same, but I'm looking for generalities. And information on how much the BLD really wears the brakes.

My KK usually eats 2 sets of rear pads to every set of front pads....

Same here. 2:1, rear : front. I think it has to do with the tiny rotors and way-too-small pads in the rear.
I just put the powerstop slotted and crossdrilled rotors and powerstop pads on the front. It's very debateable, and don't start arguing that topic here, but the price was cheaper for the package delivered from Rockauto than if I got the stuff from my local parts store.
And they work terrific.

Brake wear on the KKs is more due to the traction control BS than anything else I'd say and from what I have seen and heard
Comparing KJs mine with no traction control rear brakes last about 90-100,000 miles
At 182,000 mine were replaced once at 100,000 and will need replaced again at 190,000 or so.
So size of brake rotors not as much as the TC affecting wear
:2cents:

I agree 1,000,000,000 times!
I couldn't think of how to say that without having people think I hot rod it every time I leave a driveway or stoplight!
Every time I leave my neighborhood I make a right. It is a 90 degree turn that is relatively flat but has a crown / off camber thing going on with it. The slightest moisture, ABS. Full rain, ABS. Dry pavement with more that eighth throttle, ABS.
